Start With A Dimensioned Drawing
For glass forming, specify tube dimensions and the finished neck, body, height and base. For filling and closing, provide the container, closure and product characteristics. For packaging, provide the packed article and required pack format.
Use Units And Tolerances
State dimensions, volume, output and utilities with their units. Identify the acceptable range and the drawing revision so purchasing and engineering compare the same specification.
Read Reference Parameters By Configuration
Brochure values vary with the equipment arrangement and product format. Do not combine the highest output from one configuration with the largest container from another without a technical review.
Confirm The Operating Conditions
Review utilities, environment, access, cleaning and acceptance checks for the selected equipment. For sterile or cleanroom applications, agree the applicable qualification and documentation scope.
